In sadder news, Gothenburg Opera House has yet to respond to my email ;;, Might be the end of my hunt for the Gothenburg 2006 proshoot, but I shall prevail and continue. Thunerseespiele has also not responded - although I had to do like... a weird in-browser, on-site email for them, so I don't know if that will end up going through some kind of automated process or not.
Also, I don't remember if it was Oli or David who pointed this out but at the beginning of the Gothenburg clip compilation on their youtube channel, there's like... a DVD Play Menu at the start??? Whoever noticed it and told me about it thank u v much. I don't know if that was just made for promotional purposes or if there actually IS a DVD of it out there that you could have purchased from the theatre. Presumably they have professional shoots in their archives?Regardless, I emailed them asking about that. I'm deffo not the first person to try and do this presumably, but I might as well try!!
I shall keep everyone updated on that. ALSO as a quick side note, if you're ever thinking about emailing a theatre or something for Cats content but you're too nervous, shoot me a DM and I'll do it for ya, cus I'm brave like that uwu
