now that i'm looking for it it's actually pretty visible in gameplay too but it's usually too fast to really notice. but it's totally there.

Commissioner was playing a paragon class at Waerloga called Mystic Knight, which is basically what happens when the fae recruit mortals to become Super Sentai heroes (image colours and all) for them. As such their weapons tend to be VERY toyetic.
He requested a sword (and later a second to join it when he unlocked dual-wielding) based on the original Thunderseal from Guilty Gear, but in a red colour scheme (as he was the Red Knight).
