Red’s Erect Defeat

I've been thinking a lot about the styles of gay wrestling out there.  Now if I had to describe Thunders Arena's style, I'd say hunky, mr.popular, jock types, dipping their toes and legs and abs and torsos into the craft.  Take Baby Herc for example.

I've been trading emails with a wrestling fan who ordered Custom videos from Thunder's Arena. I am very curious about how this works. I asked him about the experience and whether he felt he got his money's worth. While it is pricey, he's been very pleased and impressed with the results and he appreciates the wrestlers for doing their best to give him what he asked for.

His favorite purchase, the one that stuck most closely to his script (and is a damn hot match to boot), was Cason vs. Silas in Lightning Match #10. So I asked him to send me his script (see below) so I can go beat by beat and see how they delivered on his requests. As he noted, the wrestlers do a fantastic job packing in as much of his scripted action as they could in a short video, while still making the action seem authentic and competitive, not too robotic. I, too, was impressed.

So here is his script along with some notable moments from the video where they really nailed it:

Cason (Heel) v Silas (Jobber) squash job

Below are only suggestions and some I haven’t seen you guys do before. Do what you guys can — I realize it’s only 10 minutes but anything you can do is appreciated. Thx!  Preferably have them wear slim shiny/metallic speedos or slim speedos or bikini. No box cuts unless they are the metallic shiny ones.  

Theme: Cason “So you’re claiming to be the new fan favorite?” Silas cocky about it, “What can I say? The fans have great taste in this.” Posing, “I’ve got it all boy. Total package. Bring it on.” Cason unimpressed motions Silas back towards the ring corner to give him space and poses adding in some pec bounces.

“You think you can beat this? I’m a Greek god. Silas — I’ll teach you a wrestling lesson you will never forget.”  Silas responds: “I don’t think so. You see I’ve studied your matches and I know your moves. I’m going to take you down a notch buddy. Humble you.” Cason says: “No amount of homework is going to help you.” Tone and attitude turn serious most of match. Silas confidently turns his back to Cason to stretch using the turnbuckle. 

1st move — stomach bash in corner 

Cason starts stomach pounding with fist. Some time between each fist pounding to gloat. Like he did with Gunnar. With some bashing, Cason should pull Silas's speedos from front toward him like a rubber band and hit Silas’s belly.

After pounding a few times, Cason grabs Silas in a headlock and grinds his eyes on the ropes to the other corner. Silas gripping his face and tries to see again. Cason gives him a little space but stands posing in front of Silas. “Look at this! You have no idea what you got yourself into.”  Silas motioning Cason to step back as he composes himself. Cason struts away confidently. Turns around pec bouncing towards Silas to irritate him. Silas hits the ropes in frustration “damn it!” Silas gets his cool cockiness again, fluttering his hair.

2nd move - Boston Crab

Silas approaches Cason to lock up and instead Cason grabs his eyes and rakes them holding on as Silas lowers to his knees. Once on his knees, Cason releases the grip on his face and throws Silas face down in the mat. Silas is now holding his face and his feet, pounding on the mat. Cason puts on a Boston Crab. Silas says he gives and Cason gets up, staring down at Silas, and says, "This is going to be a quick match dude. I promise you. But I’m not finished with you.”
