My 24/Seven signing story!
So eventually we actually got to standing in line in front of them (before we were off the the side, so far back they probably didn't know we existed) and this is where the fun begins. I was probably 40ish feet from where the guys were, and it took a while, but eventually I got a big wave and smile from Carlos. My little brother was with, and the closer that we got, the easier it was to get their attention. Eventually we got Carlos to wave at him, and he was so excited. He's 10 and he's literally the reason that I even watched these boys in the first place! There was a moment where I screamed "James" because he wasn't occupied, (and if you remember, I'm fucking loud when I need to be) and I got a big ol'smile from him.
Now, here's where I actually almost cried a little. "Like Nobody's Around" came on on the loud speakers, and I was just y'know, bopping along and mouthing the words. I look up, and there's no one in front of Kendall, and he's mouthing the words too. He looks up, sees me, and we straight up just like, sang to each other for a good 10 seconds or so. He got distracted and looked away, and I almost fucking PEED. (Ashley - that text about Kendall was from immediately after this happened!)
So after that basically nothing was exciting up until I actually was next to them. So. James was first, looking fine as fuck in a purple tee, and he had a goatee and fucking god he looked good. I gave him my CD booklets (I had two - mine and one for my friend who couldn't make it cause she was busy) after he shook my hand, which god, his hands are so amazing. I said that the first booklet was mine and the second was for my friend who couldn't be there, and he goes, "Wow, you're an amazing friend!" I literally just giggled and was like "Well thanks!" And that was James.
Logan was an idiot and wore sunglasses the whole damn time, but I could see his eyes so at least I knew where to look so I wasn't just staring somewhere randomly. I got a hand shake, and god fucking damn it HIS SMILE. He's the only guy who drew a heart on my cover, of course, after my favorite's changed. But he was pretty quiet and super nice as usual.
Kendall, guys. KENDALL. My little brother was in front of me (with my mom) and he was so damn funny with him. My brother went to give him a high-five, cause that's what James and Logan did, and Kendall was like "No way, man. We're gonna man-shake." Or something dumb like that. So he grabs my brother's hand and starts really shaking it, like really hard, and my brother starts shaking his hand really hard and my mom goes, "Don't hurt Kendall!" And what does he decide to do? Grab his right shoulder (tshuigjjrhid TATTOO WAS VISIBLE) like he's in pain, and he goes "Whoa man, I think you popped my arm out of its socket!" And then he signs his CD thing acting like he can't write and oh my god, it was so funny. I was dying the entire time.
On to MY story with Kendall though. So I hand him my CD booklets, and he shakes my hand - it was probably the worst hand shake in history, I'm gonna be honest, but he made up for it. In between signing the two booklets, he goes, "How are you doing babe?" I fucking...my brain legitimately shorted out and I go to say good, but I stop halfway through and go "Go-REAT!" I basically said "great" like fucking Tony the Tiger for Frosted Flakes - y'know, grrrrrATE. He then laughs at me, repeats it including this hand motion (minus the whole thumbs up part - how do you even explain that action?), and we just laughed about it together. "I like that answer!" he says, and I'm literally dying because he called me "babe." And I sounded like an idiot. I was going to try to get in a quick hug, but at that point, I forgot and didn't remember until afterwards. He could not have been any more amazing, guys.
Carlos was pretty quick and he seemed really out of it. He didn't even look up - just immediately signed the two things, as his pen was obviously running out, and then looked up and smiled. I put my hand out so he could shake it, and he grabbed it and shook it HARD. He gives great handshakes. I basically said "Hi" and "Thanks" and that was it for Carlos.
It was such a good day, guys. I have really crappy pictures but you're all seeing the good ones so I won't post them. Just. Such an amazing day.
