Playing with a new lens- look at the ACTUAL PUPPYDOG I got pictures of :3
My little Briggsiana is growing up :’) Yes I do say this every time it opens a ‘biggest pitcher yet,’ but it was my first nepenthes and I’m very proud. This is the first time I’ve noticed any hairs on the underside of its lid, there will probably be more of those as it matures!
A good girl keeping her eye on the reptile enclosures
Modified from a design on bracelet book.com. (Those patterns are charted on a square grid, so end up stretched when transferred directly to a loom.) Final pic is the complete piece. Love how it turned out! Meant to try a border of strung beads but forgot, whoops. Next time. Used nymo thread which, now that I’ve finished a few projects, seems like it’s harder for me to keep even tension with? Will try Fire Line next time to see how it compares.

Biggest pitcher yet on the Nepenthes sanguinea, and an eeeety bitty pitcher from a small sucker on the Briggsiana. The sanguinea is really growing on me, if I had more room I might get one of the dark red/purple varieties.
VERY proud of my little windowsill nepenthes! (Didn’t come labeled, but I think it’s a ventricosa. Maybe a high red clone?) I’ve only had it for a little more than a year and its pitchers have changed so much- all the little fringes are gone from the front of the pitchers, and the rims are increasingly flared. Also my small forest of cape sundew, of course.
MY GIRL UMHA finally in her much needed upgrade! That’s how her inclosure started, had to take the sedum out bc aphids hatched out on it :( I’ll need to root it in treated soil and give it a month or two. + Ulu who got upgraded too.
