    if he’s honest, as soon as his earphones had hit his ear -- harry hadn’t been paying attention to anything that had been said to him. the car journey had already bombed before him and his father had even got in the car, and the general chatter in the hallways of midtown wasn’t something he wanted to listen to. so, harry’s plan was simple. to get to his first class -- science -- and get as much work done as early as he could. that backfired too ‘uh -- parker, right? ‘ he was sure he’d heard one of the mathletes talking about him. earphone is tugged out, and harry manages to put on a smile  ‘ the kid flash goes on about? uh, mind if i just do some work in here? wont be too loud. ‘ ‘
