The sounds of raindrops hitting the roof of the car woke you slowly. You hummed as you opened your eyes, taking a minute to watch a few droplets race down the window by your head.
When they’d reached the bottom, you sat up, stretching as best you could in the small space you had. Dean looked over at you, smiling when he caught your eye.
“How long was I out?” you asked him, grabbing your water bottle and taking a swig.
“Not long, an hour or so,” he answered. “The rain just started a few minutes ago, though.”
He knew you too well. You loved the rain, loved spending time in it, loved driving in it (as long as it wasn’t too bad). The two of you sat quietly for a few minutes, listening to the wheels of the impala sliding softly along the slick pavement and the pitter patter of drops on the car.
No matter what kind of hunt you were heading toward or coming away from, the rain always calmed you.
You slid across the seat toward Dean, his arm lifting to let you settle into his side. You rested your head on his shoulder as he drove, completely happy with the rain and your man surrounding you.

When you say bath, did you wipe them down with it or dunk then around in the solution? I been seeing different ways in YouTube but really afraid to just straight give them a full on bath..
I dipped a q-tip in rubbing alcohol and rubbed it on the leaves, focusing on the middle of the rosettes where the bugs were. I’ve heard you can also spray them with some rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, and I plan to do that a bit later today. From what I’ve read either of those methods should be good enough!
