A week late... I am sorry Brett. 8th December would have been Brett's 65th birthday. Most years I'd go over to his place on Cowper rd. for his birthday and we'd be joined by Frankie Stein ( no really ) , Junior Tomlin and other ner'do'wells to celebrate with Brett. Some years it'd just be me and Brett and I'd tke him out for a curry. He'd talk about his writing and ideas he had. We'd talk about fashion, and how he modelled once for Vivienne Westwood when he was in art school. We'd go back to his and he'd play memtl mixtapes and Bowie all night. I miss Brett every day, and it always heartens me to see his art shared, and enjoyed by others. He did so much, in a relatively short career, cut short by illness. I have many favourites, but my absolute favourite was Bad Company in 2000ad. When it came out, it blew my tiny teen mind!!! ( already high from seeing Platoon) What was your favourite?
