I can’t even begin to explain how exciting this moment is.  It’s 11:11pm the night before New Hire Orientation Day at Yahoo! in Sunnyvale.  I have never done something of this sort, working for Yahoo.  It feels right now like it’s the dawn of a new time, a new era.  Like the roller-coaster is just peeking over the starting hill right now, ready to begin it’s exhilarating descent.  I feel like things are about to get extremely exciting/hectic/intense/fun.  And my life will be changed forever.
I, honest-heartedly, am so appreciative for these opportunities I have.  I am so fortunate to be where I am right now.  And I’m not just saying it; I really feel it.  From Rory, the guy who pushed the company to break several HR rules to hire me, to David Lim, my amazing friend who stayed up with me, helping me make a killer WWDC Scholarship App, I am truly grateful for the help I’ve gotten and the people in my life.
It feels like things are about to get really sensationally awesome. Â I am ready to push myself past and exceed my own limits, working as passionately and fiercely as I can. Â Because I know it will pay off.
Oh man, I can’t wait for the future.
