Trompe L'oeil is a time-tested French technique that creates three-dimensional imagery.
In French, "Trompe L'oeil" literally means “to deceive the eye.” Craftspeople for millennia have employed various versions of this technique to create beautiful spaces, inspire awe, and have fun. Historians believe that Trompe L'oeil as a movement dates back to the Baroque period.
