lottie is a polyglot! she knows many languages but is only fluent in four
cain can speak german. he’s rusty on the day-to-day stuff, but the second he’s annoyed, the fluency snaps right back into place for a string of curses. he also has a latin fixation and mutters prayers in both when stressed
genesis basically tapped out of vietnamese early on because of the tones, so she settles for knowing when her mom is telling her to eat or go shower. she can recognize the "essentials" but if she tries to actually speak it, her pronunciation is a total trainwreck because she can't hit the pitches right. she does know a bit of tagalog!
