Welcome to Threadspinner FLAME, the medieval-themed playtest of Threadspinner, the Souls-inspired afterlife exploration RPG! In this episode, our players share the characters they've created: a paladin of love and creation, a wizard seeking primordial power, and an executed traitor whose chains compel supplication!

Threadspinner FLAME #1: The Mylor Plutocracy

Long ago, the Razorback King conquered Loromir with the power of flame. The country and its King faded into myth, and their spirits passed into the afterlife. Now, the Razorback King rises again, gathering power to set aflame even the land of the dead—unless the Threadspinner's Guild can stop him.

A novice Threadspinner leads three undead adventurers to map the long-dead spirit of a prosperous seaside city-state, where a great foe dwells.

To tame the endless chaos of the Wake, the Threadspinner's Guild recruits three undead adventurers to explore the spirits of long-dead kingdoms: a paladin of love and creation, a wizard seeking primordial power, and an executed traitor whose chains compel supplication.

Threadspinner FLAME is the first campaign of Threadspinner Playtest, and takes inspiration primarily from Elden Ring and the Dark Souls franchise. FLAME will run for approximately 20-25 episodes, released once every three weeks.

Thistle, the Bastard Daughter, was executed for sedition, insurrection, and the murder of Duke Aldous's only son. In the land of the dead, her prisoner's chains still bind her, but also give her the power to replicate her greatest crime. Such is the fate of the Executed.
