Naomi had been dying for some gelato. It was such a difference between gelato , custard and ice cream. It was not all the same. She would always go for a rich flavor profile and a sweets girl by heart, she would have an ice cream shop too for she could. She had been wanting to try the new flavors and toppings. “Okay, It’s my treat.” She told the blonde. “So pick whatever you want girlie.” There was so much to choose from. “I might be here forever deciding so by all means take your time.”

“Okay, what’s first on the menu?” She sat next to him at the bar. Naomi had immediately clocked out as soon as she could - thankful to be leaving a little early. She went home to get dressed for the evening and pack an overnight bag. Maybe it was a little overkill to do such a bold thing, but she wanted to soak up as much time as possible with him. He had put in the effort to surprise her and here she was wanting to return the favor. “There is a little bit of everything if you want to try each drink.” She glanced at the menu. “Thank you for the gifts by the way.”

Valentine’s Day was usually another day for Naomi. This year, she was working and completing orders with her team as much as possible so they weren’t behind. “See anything you like?” The jeweler had discounts on jewelry and she was looking forward to picking something out and maybe even giving JD a gift from here. “What do you think about this silver heart shape pendant?”

“Well, don’t you look gorgeous.” Naomi opened her arms to hug the older blonde. She had been meaning to look at the art and see what creations she would be taking home. “Did you do a piece?” She inquired. Naomi wished she had the time to do so, but of course she missed the deadline. “My office at work is bare and even though I feel like Valentine’s Day is around the corner - I still want some winter art for the moment.”
