"-jesus christ," he panted, a look of worry plastered across his face, "you can't just run off like that. i'm getting paid to look after you. do you not understand what could have happened to you while you were out there on your own?" he knew that technically, they were his employer but even so, he couldn't help but scold the other for going off on their own. maybe he took his job a little too serious but at least he cared. maybe more than he should in his position. it was hard not to when the two of them spent so much time together. "you have no idea how worried i was about you."

the man worked hard. he always had because well, he if were being honest, the last thing he wanted to do was let his parents down. they put him through school, cheered him on when they could, and supported his dreams. so, it was no surprise that he was working late, as he normally did. tonight like most nights, he had assumed everyone was gone but when mia walked in, he was proven wrong. he sat up, clearing his throat. "mia," he started, "it's a friday night and you're still here? surely you have better things to do and a boyfriend to enjoy your night with." whether she was dating someone or not was truly none of his business but he couldn't help but want to find out, especially with the chemistry he felt between the two of them.

alejandro had been counting down the days to their trip and now that they were fully alone together without the fear of her family finding out about their relationship, he couldn't be happier. his hand held onto hers, smiling down at her as they made their ways up to their hotel suite. "so, after we drop off our luggage, what do you want to get into first?" he asked, glancing over at the woman with a smile stretched across his face. "sight seeing? dinner? or would you prefer to rest?"

each and every time ellis' parents set him up on a date, he was forced out with him. it wasn't that he hated ellis by any means and he didn't so much mind having to keep an eye on him but it was just that, he wasn't so much of a fan seeing the other with someone else. his craving for the man was unprofessional and something he would never act on and so, he buried the way he felt and did as any body guard would do - their job.

leading ellis back to the car after what seemed like to him another failed date, he looked over at him. "how'd it go?" alejandro quizzed. he wasn't sure if he asked for his own personal reason or if he was just trying to make small talk. either way, he asked. "i assume not that well if you didn't considering going home with them instead of me." he attempted at a joke and opened the car door for the man to let him in the black escalade he drove him around in.
