Valentina had truly been awaiting this exhibit for a while and being the way she was, there was no flexibility in visiting any galleries during the day. She was a true fan of Da Vinci for many reasons. She remembered growing up and admiring this man not only for his talented pieces of art but all his numerous inventions as well. She even remembered the time when he had died. She had been made a vampire by then but in this time it was just her and Einar. She'd cried over the fellow Italian's death which Einar had found stupid she supposed as it was nobody personally she knew but she had always had a deep connection within the art.
Tonight in Amsterdam, Valentina had stepped foot in the special limited time Da Vinci exhibit which was only here for the weekend. Charlotte had refused to come, wanting to stay back in Russia to see the ballet with an apparent friend. Of course she would miss her but this art was a huge passion in her life and every free time she had to paint she would do so would never miss the opportunity to see the pieces of her favourite artist of all time.
In her radiant amethyst reefer coat, the vampire stepped inside the building where the exhibit was being held, smiling to herself as she noticed almost instantly of some of the fond lesser known pieces in the room. She was glad that the world truly appreciated what a great artist this man had been and even now hundreds of years later his work was still a legacy. It was at this point she noticed a famous painting known as 'La Columbine' to her left. A small smile tinted her lips as she slowly walked over to the painting, standing besides a tall man with golden hair who seemed deeply interested in the piece. She glanced up to the stranger.
" It's beautiful isn't it?" her thick Italian shinning though as she spoke. Wait a second. She paused momentarily. This man he looked familiar and she was not sure if her mind was playing tricks on her. Her eyes flickered up to the man's for a second as her mouth suddenly fell open. "Einar?!" she tried to hide her shock but was unable to do so. Why on earth would be come to an art exhibit? She knew art was not an interest... other than the numerous 'self portraits' he loved to paint and of course the ones of various women, including her. "Wh.. what are you doing here?" she took a slight step towards him, peering around. Surely he had not come all the way here hoping to find her? A move of a deep romantic for sure... no it must just be a coincidence right? He must of been here with a woman... she was sure it had to be. " Who did you come here with?"
