"So this is the weather outside of our cans? Horrible, really." Salt finds her corner of... what did he call it? The shelter? and spreads his lwgs forward. It's similar to a can, being a sealed in metal box, but it's way more claustrophobic. She really doesn't recommend it.

This is his first full cycle out of the can. Some crazy bastard had figured it out before and sent a little rat of a beast to bust everyone out of their situations. It's almost impressive how one can train a dim-witted wild animal to do anything if they disfigure its genetics enough.

The world below, outside of his structure, was not really what he expected. It's a different feeling being there than watching it. And in all honesty, she's not sure if he likes it better. At least most of his pain stopped from corrosion! But now her puppet is completely exposed.

Luca had moved away to a small town outside of the city, living in a fairly spacious apartment, something which would still take getting used to but was getting there. He had started another job which was still essentially the same thing apart from he chose to work at his new home more often. He'd call it comfort but it was primarily to avoid any chances of awkwardly bumping into Chloe. He'd changed his number to cut off all contact from her knowing it was for the best but despite all of this, she was still the first thing he thought of when he woke up and the last thing he thought of when going to bed. Luca had been drinking a lot more than usual but it helped him to cope with the crippling depression of which his life had become. Never in a millions years did he see himself living alone in a bachelor life style in some town which was a good 30 minute drive away from and mainly all alone drinking away his sorrows almost every night. 

Right now he sat upon his balcony, cigarette burning out between his fingers as he took a swig of rum, looking out upon the balcony with a sigh. It were times like this when it was really quiet and it really reminded him of how much he missed Chloe and spending time with her. He truly hoped wherever she was in life that she was happy. Hopefully with a new boyfriend and having a good time with him, even if it was a bittersweet thought for him.

Wrong.

Little did Luca know it would feel like an eternity. It felt very surreal. He had been away on trips this long before, some longer than this in the time he had been married to Christina but never had he missed her as much as he missed Chloe right now. Maybe it was fact that he had been on far too many dinners with the flirtatious Monica who even though was a very attractive woman, did not come close to the blonde goddess awaiting him back home. The days had felt long but the nights even longer. It felt like he would spend the nights just looking out in the sky and thinking about Chloe's sparkling eyes which twinkled in the moonlight.

It certainly had made matters worse the day when he had been in the middle of a lunch meeting and received a rather provocative image from her in a red lingerie set which caused an instant firmness in his pants which was particular hard to hide in the middle of the room full of others. Of course he was almost certain she did that on purpose and he was sure she knew that she would be on his mind all more now, especially since she had been wearing red, his favourite. That had been a week ago so had been unbearably difficult ever since. Now he was finally on his way home. Thank fuck for that. Luca certainly wanted to teach her a lesson for torturing him like that. He almost hoped she may he sitting on the sofa in that exact lingerie set waiting for him but he was not expecting it. The flight had already been delayed and it had seemingly taken forever to get a taxi so he expected her to be fast asleep by now. More than anything it was be nice to just get to see her angelic face.

"Thank you" Luca paid the driver before getting out of the car, his leather holdall in his hand heading towards the front door. Fumbling with his hand in his pocket he eventually got his key to open up the door heading the stairs to his 2nd floor apartment, ensuring that when he reached his home to quietly open up the door in case Chloe was sleeping as not to wake her. With a tired sigh, the male removed his jacket and hung it up on the coat rack, placing his bag by the door in attention to sort in morning. He walked through to the kitchen to get a quick glass of water before going to see Chloe whom he presumed was in bed judging by the darkness. Taking a small clear glass from the cabinet he filled the cylinder with some quick water from the tap before loosening his tie and heading on his way to the bedroom.
