Veer walked around the streets that had been used as race tracks, perhaps too close to where the racer by the name of SHATTERSTAR had been captured, but they were too curious. They watched the remnants of an Overseer operation. The races were always moving, always in a different part of the city, but now... they wondered how long before they'd be set up again.

"This used to be such a nice street," they said, seemingly to no one in particular, though they'd spotted the Detective of course.

Being much older than most on the force, with how tiring the life of an Overseer could get, Mentari had years of experience and connections under his belt. He was a detective for the Criminal Investigation department, but he often his head where it didn’t belong, finding himself at the fringes, always aware of everything going on. 

The race tracks of the Slums were notorious for always shifting. Even he, with all his connections, couldn’t tell you where they’d be next.

The fact that the Overseers had figured it out was commendable. But the timing felt off.

He produced his handheld to Overseers on sight and directed his attention to the lead detective of the division. “Boss sends their compliments,” he said to Levi. “Impressive work.”
