_ open starter from HELIA
In any town, the sight and knowledge of a dead body showing up would leave her cold, at least to a certain extend. She had learned young that death was all around her, thus she lived with it. But this was her town, the community was very different from your average small town, and any occurrence like this had her senses on high alert. Helia reached forward, placed the steaming mugs of tea between them, and gently gave the slightly shaking hand a light touch. “I know how this must’ve scared you, it freaked me out too,” she said to the fellow individual who had been standing outside of the church when it all happened. Luckily she had not seen the body, and how she hoped her companion had not either. The stories were more than enough.
