CLOSED STARTER FOR @acridtongue ft. eunha location THE GRAVITY NIGHTCLUB
Zakir could not ignore the butterflies he felt in his stomach whenever he heard his own music blasting back towards him through stereos in other places. He’d heard his own music plenty at home, at studios, at producer meetings. He spent hours perfecting every beat and every line. But once it was out there, once other people enjoyed the music he produced, he managed to turn off that part of him that was the perfectionist, and just watch people dancing and singing along.
The Gravity Nightclub did play his music regularly, especially the dance numbers, for obvious reasons. He was dancing with some fellow rappers when one of his songs came on, and he rapped his way through it while the others hyped him up. Switching languages as an art, not a skill, Urdu, Russian, English, Hindi, Tamil, all those languages passing him by before the end of the song, when his throat felt so dry that he ran to the bar to get some water - Zakir didn’t drink alcohol. He was beaming, talked affectionately towards the bartender, and downed the whole glass.
