Gemma licked her lips, there was much about the Capo that was to everyone most unusual. She’d taken her position with great loss to herself, an eye and a lover. But none of it had in any way deterred her ambitions. She was still intent on chaos, alas, rather dangerously so. She had once been completely on the side of the Weiss family, she’d hated Cassandra with a passion, but grew closer once that little picture perfect stopped being so perfect. She’d enjoyed the fact that Petra had loved her rivalry with her sister. She’d given her life for the Weiss patriarch.

Now she’d give her life to watch something - anything - burn. 

Her eyes found Claudia, the tall woman who had joined their ranks when her family was with others.

She passed several of the onlookers and joined the woman, while the crowd slowly dispersed. The commissioner and the spokesman for the Vitellis returned back inside. The city council building returned to its usual bustle.

“Never a dull moment in this place,” the one-eyed Capo murmured.

Janella had a soft spot for women, especially tall women. She tended to either be all over them or pretend to be hard to get. A lot of tall women weren't into her, even if Janella was tall, beuatiful, and succesful. If only everyone in the world was bisexual. Though that would mean she had to be as well, and Janella could not imagine having something with a man.

She fanned her face as she spotted Claudia. The woman was extremely beautiful. It was almost unfair, if she didn't very much enjoy looking at her. She smiled, then fell in step next to her. She was tall, taller than Janella, and she walked gracefully as a dancer.

The only problem was that she'd been with Claudia, and she knew the woman could not be trusted. Which made her being so beautiful even more infuriating.
