Pollux rubbed at his eyes in frustration, sleep creeping into his vision. It was late at the headquarters, and the wolf was still working on paperwork. That was the job of the second in command, after all. To do paperwork sometimes. It was really bittersweet. His whole body ached, especially his back, from leaning forward so much and staring over the words. They seemed to just blend together now, and he absolutely hated it. Feeling Lux aching to get out made him even more annoyed. He sighed. Why’d it have to be him stuck with the most annoying demon ever?Â
His thoughts were interrupted as he heard movement drawing closer to the door, looking up to see just exactly who it was. He smiled, taking note of the figure-- Mason. He simply looked back down at his papers, tossing a folder to the side with a sigh. “I’m busy,” he added softly, “Is it important?” he asked.Â
