Shea was 17 years old. A Senior in High School. But that didn’t stop her father from trying to control her every movement. Especially when it came to her relationship. Shea and Dean had been together since Sophomore year, secretly of course. John and Finnian would have lost their minds if they knew. Sneaking around was always hard, until Shea’s father got her a car for her 16th Birthday. 

It was well past midnight, and her mother was sleeping, Finnian working the night shift at the Police station. Sneaking down the hall, she peeked into her parents room, making sure Carlyn was indeed asleep. Making her way to the front door, she grabbed her leather jacket off the coat rack and her keys out of the key bowl.

Making her way outside, she climbed into her car and pulled her phone out of the pocket of the jeans she was wearing, free hand running back through her red hair. Opening up her messages and quickly typing in Dean’s name, she hoped he was still able to sneak out past his father and brother. typing out the text, she sat staring at the screen after she sent it, deciding she should wait to start the car until Dean confirmed he could escape.
