Alice has informed Jack of wanting to avoid taking trains, if it was an option. Of course, he then asked why, and it made the woman grimace slightly. Of course there was the fact she murdered a man using a train, but that wasn’t exactly a big reason why she had a bad taste of the machinery.
“It’s... I’ve had a bad history with trains, you see. An Infernal Train nearly tore me and Wonderland apart, making lasting damages and twisting everything around me- and it was sent into motion by Bumby’s actions. Never mind the fact how Doctor Bumby met his end-- I would simply prefer not to be near a train at this time...”
She knew the risks of walking from where they were instead of taking the swiftest chance. But Alice would rather take the danger, than the train. “I know we must trek through a swamp but-”
