She didn’t think he would turn her away, but it was nice to know for certain she had somewhere to stay until she figured things out. “The spare room would be perfect,” Cleo responds with a little nod, but she stops at his next question, grimacing slightly. “Uh, no,” she responded awkwardly. “Everything happened sorta quickly, so I kinda just left. I’m gonna try to go back tomorrow while Mom and Dad are at work to try to get some stuff, but,” she shrugs, gesturing to the clothes she’s currently wearing. “In the meantime, this is all I’ve got.”
