Raine had a natural instinct to run towards danger - or to create it.
So when they heard people screaming or the sounds of shouting, instead of turning away from it, they either headed towards it to see what was happening or to help - if they could.
They turned the corner and sprinted till they had reached the side of the person screaming, one shoulder slightly in front of that person in a protective gesture. They growled at the individual who seemed momentarily scared off by the sight of two people there. They didn’t even notice who it was that they were aiding.
