Yeon had been looking around for Vax. He'd managed to lose him already. He sighed as he looked around, finally finding someone and walking up to him. "Hi. I happen to be looking for my boyfriend. I've already lost him. He better not be out stealing." He smiles fondly at his last words.

With the text fight from the previous day done and over with, Amelia made her way to Percy’s place with two coffee’s and a bag of fresh pastries in her hands. She walked down the town center with a stupid smile on her face at the thought of a fresh start. She hadn’t been this invested with someone for years. It was a good thing - whatever this was - because it brought joy in her life. She hadn’t felt that in a long time. 

But as she approached the building that housed her apartment above the small shop, Amelia stopped short. Leaving the place was a guy - familiar but not known - mussed hair and clearly had stayed the night if the way he tugged his clothes was any indication. It didn’t take her too long to put the pieces together. Percy had spent the night with someone else despite their supposed fresh start. Amelia huffed - she felt stupid. This was the second time.  But with a sense of pride, Mel walked to Percy’s place and knocked on the door and waited till it was opened. “If I had known you’d have company this early, I would have just had it delivered.” It was a shady comment but clearly pointing out that she had seen the guy leave her place. “Here, enjoy.” Amelia placed the treats she had brought on the ground and turned on her heel to walk away. “Feel free to call him back - might as well feed him.” Her eyes met Percy’s full of anger but there was a vein of hurt that flowed through them. “See you, Percy.”

LOCATION: Chicago Medical Center

Today was an AWFUL day to the resident. It was Dr. De Luca’s first day back to work since the drugging at the pier and the woman felt like complete shit. Slowly throughout her shift she had been supplying herself some banana bags to help in anyway make her feel better. It was either that or keeping herself boarded up in the OR with her mentors and coworkers. Her eyes flicker over to see her four interns standing there all wide eyed and ready for the woman’s next move. Irritated, Percy closed the patient’s file in a negative manner before looking to the four. “Go off somewhere and be annoying to someone else,” she began to bite their heads off. “and don’t kill anyone.” With that the woman walked away from the nurses station and towards the lobby where coffee awaited her. 

“Thank you.” Her voice low as she took the fresh cup from the barista and took a sip of it once she walked out of the line. Oh God this tastes better than sex, she thought. Feeling the area being a little too crowded for her taste, the surgical resident walked outside to enjoy the fresh crisp air and welcome the cool breeze. Taking a seat on the furthest bench away from the front doors she sat there in the dark lit corner and watched people come and get. There wasn’t much going through now since it was now night time. 

Percy then ALMOST choked up on her coffee when seeing someone she hadn’t seen in years -- someone who had changed a lot. Quickly wiping the coffee off her lips she spoke, “Easton?” 

After and only after, making sure that Ledger was okay and home safe with Lu, that Amelia even thought about going over to see Percy. It would be a lie if she didn’t admit that Percy had been on her mind a lot since that day at Quick Fix. All of that had not been planned but boy, had it been hot. So when the other had texted her and asked to come over, how was Amelia supposed to say no. Even if she was emotionally drained.  With one last text to Ledger to check and let him know if he needed anything to call her, she put her phone in her back pocket and knocked on Percy’s door. “Percy - it’s Amelia.” She called out, knowing everyone was on edge with the murder and wanting to reassure her that she was safe. “I’m sorry it took a bit.” 

Yeon sat with Percy. He thought it was cool that the man knew his boyfriend. He was interested in hearing more about Vax. “So, what is the best memory you have of Vax?”

Amelia was rubbing her head, still sitting on the corner of the bed, after talking to Ledger about the badly timed confession. She lifted her head and her heart stopped when she saw Percy - she found out in the worst possible way. Without thinking, Amelia got up and closed the distance between them until she was in front of the other girl. “Can we please talk? I have a lot of explaining to do.”
