Sarah had felt listless after her miraculous reawakening. She hadn’t known what to do with herself, so Tony, Howard’s bright boy, suggested she visit her motherland, reconnect with relatives. That had seemed like as good an idea as any, so she hopped on a plane. Her first stop, before visiting her nieces and nephews, and their children, was a cemetery. She placed flowers on Falsworth’s grave, then visited the World War II memorial. She wasn’t alone. She smiled at the blond man and nodded. “I don’t suppose many people visit this anymore.”
