"i don't think i've had a good day in a long time before today," may mused as she unlocked the door. since lewis had taken up residence in town and with stephen spending every other week with his father, but it left may uneasy, not knowing what his next move was going to be. which left her mind rather preoccupied majority of the time. but an evening with manu? it was just what the doctor ordered and it left may feeling relaxed. "do you want a drink?" she asked as she guided them both inside, towards the kitchen.

          “i’m still mad at you, you know,” may said softly, looking up from the menu. the restaurant seemed like a safe place for the two of them to spend time together without anyone raising an eyebrow or question them being together sans lewis. 

          “sorry i’m late!” may said as she rushed up to bennett, quickly greeting him with a kiss on the cheek. “i was trying to get stephan to piano and lewis kept asking me where i was going. as if i don’t have friends in this town,” she said, rolling her eyes. “i feel like we have so much to catch up on.”
