Jayden had a couple days off, and she made plans with Nicholai for one of those days. They had been talking since they met at a bookstore and bonded over one of the books they had both looked at. Nicholai was a bit older than her, but they seemed to have a lot in common. So now she was at the bookstore, waiting to meet up with Nicholai to hang out for the day. She was browsing some art books when she heard the bell on the door. Maybe that was him? Jayden looked at the book she pulled off of the shelf and flipped through the pages as she waited. Butterflies started to flutter in her stomach as she waited. She would have been lying if she said that she didn’t have a bit of a crush on Nicholai, but he probably thought of her like a friend if anything.
