FYI, if I reblogged something from you that no one has touched in months, it’s probably because I’m going through my drafts folder and adding random crap to my queue.
Over a year ago.. there were regular (almost daily) posts against people saying things like “ugh.. straight people”.. or “ugh.. white people”.. and these posts were, by and large, “Hate breeds Hate”.
In response to this, OVER A YEAR AGO, I pointed out that reacting to those posts, those exhasperated sounds from people who are exhausted with the constant bigotry, with the statement of “hate breeds hate”... kinda ignores the bigotry.. you know.. the hate that came first... and berates the reaction.. as if the reaction caused the action, and that this beratement thus fails to even follow it’s own point, it’s own complaint..
Suddenly.. it’s being reblogged, circulated.. without the context of what was happening, on tumblr, in may, 2014...
