Meaning this timeline of games does have a thematic way to bring back Ganondorf. The moral at the end of Wind Waker is to not live in the past. But one could contrast that with a "those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it" theme by having someon draw the sword thus reviving Ganondorf.

it's just me but i feel more invested in how leander's manipulation and betrayal works on mc if viewing him as a butch. before that it was easier to examine his promises critically, until with this lens
