Ignore if you don’t care for the history: Winston (Gorilla) made the device Doomfist destroys here. That device allows Tracer to control her time manipulation. Without it, she becomes intangible and lost in time. Like a literal ghost but not dead. They have a lot of friendly voice lines in the game so it’s suggested they’re v close

I'm often not moved to read AU fics and yet here I am, spending a solid 40 minutes reading one. �������� I am really enjoying the space of exploring these personalities in a different setting. I think I often don't like AU's because personalities often get altered or changed too much, but this is perfect. ^.^

NO I AGREE. I have been writing SM for 12 years, which is the onyl reason I feel remotely qualified to do an AU. I could never do an AU in OW. AUs, to be done anything resembling well, require a deep knowledge of the characters, inside and out, and how their personalities might adapt to a different life situation. AUS ARE MY MOST CHALLENGING WORK SO THANK YOU
