Earth doesn’t seem to have changed much at all, which in hindsight appears to be a good thing.
Thor has got a reason to be here, what with Heimdall’s slightly ominous warning that had Thor scratching his head, and he intends to find out what exactly he is supposed to be searching for. It’s mid afternoon and he’s found himself walking, mjolnir in hand, when he sees something... out of the ordinary. He watches the blue sky, frowning at the object. Does he attack it? Where did it come from? Perhaps it is some inoffensive midgardian object he isn't aware of... then again, maybe it isn't. His hand slips from the grip of his hammer to the strap, swinging and launching himself through to air to follow.
When he lands again, he doesn’t recognise where he is, or where the object has disappeared to. There’s a large building nearby and he walks, people eyeing him but not saying much; they don’t even get out their phones (not that Thor is bigheaded enough to want his picture taken...) which in itself is weird – he’s not dressed in Midgardian attire at all. He approaches the building curiously – there’s nothing special about it, it just looks like a medical centre of some kind. Thor knows all too well what they look like. A group of people in matching clothing walk past and he follows; he wants to know what the strange thing was falling from the sky.
