And what if I say I headcannon Thomas as an evil guy who was just using maven and maven was too in love to notice. And the best part about this headcannon is that it could be true, we will never know another Thomas that isn’t told from maven’s lovestruck perspective.
We know that Thomas didn’t know who maven was at first and therefore treated him normally, but once he found who he was and noticed maven being rly nice to him he decided to play along and use him. He had the Prince of norta wrapped around his finger and he knew it and used it to his advantage.
