yaaayyyy prompts!! maybe a mix of both the five sentence ones and the vulnerability prompts? whichever floats your boat!
"I owe you an explanation."
"You've never owed me shit, Tommy."
That doesn't satisfy Thomas though, judging by the way he still stands and fidgets by Patrick's side as he unloads the truck. He's wearing that woollen overcoat the army gave him, and it seems to swallow him up. Patrick didn't think it was possible for anything to look too big on Thomas, not after that growth he spurt he'd had at fifteen and the way it had stretched him in every direction, but here he was, home from the war with a wife and kid and looking smaller than he had ever been before. He was pale, and thin, and fragile-looking, and it made Patrick sick in a way he didn't know how to explain to see him so changed.
The amazing thing about books is how they have lives of their own. Writers think they know their business when they sit down to compose a new work, and I suppose they do, right up to the moment when the last piece of punctuation gets planted on the final sentence. More often than not, that punctuation is a period. It should be a question mark, though, because what occurs from then on is anybody's guess.

The Runners In The Great Stork Derby
Charles Millar’s unusual bequest, offering around 500,000 Canadian dollars to the mother who in the decade since his death in 1926 has “given birth in Toronto to the greatest number of children, sparked what was dubbed “The Great Stork Derby”. Unsurprisingly, given the nature of the “contest”, the leading contenders only gained press attention in the early 1930s. Two of the early frontrunners…
