New #review #ThisWickedFate by @kalynnbayron I have been anticipating reading this book since I found out that Ms Bayron was writing a sequel to This Poison Heart, which I absolutely loved. And This Wicked Fate did NOT disappoint!!! I laughed, I cursed, I cried - all signs of a great book. I will definitely be reading this series again. The mix of ancient Greek mythology with a young woman's modern day quest is such a cool concept. This book is a race against time, against enemies looking to destroy the Colchis family, and against even the gods at times. **POTENTIAL SPOILERS Ahead - especially if you haven't read the first book** And the depth of Briseis's family history and its burden is definitely beginning to weigh on Briseis, Mo, Circe, Persephone, and Marie as they work against a lunar deadline to get Briseis's mom back from the Underworld and fulfill Hecate's command to reunite all the pieces of the Absyrtus Heart, something not even the goddess herself was able to do...
