Like what manna said, Fuck-your-fanart is a horrible blog (and I believe it's made up by a group of snobs). Where they take someone's artwork and make cruel points about them for their sick humour. There is nothing funny about this and I am not surprised that tumblr staff decided not to do anything about it. So now I am joining forces with other old kinda experienced artists to show my support and telling new artists not to be disheartened.

First off I would like to say how lucky I was that my friends and family encouraged and supported me throughout my early drawing years. Without them I wouldn't have reached as far as I can today. Which is why it is so important for new artists to know that they are loved and that people do appreciate their art. Please believe me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

My advise is to not draw a 1000 times in 100 sketchbooks but rather draw whenever you feel inspired. You should not be drawing for other people's approval but only for your heart and mind. This is why everyone's art is different and some people may improve faster but you are going in your own pace.
