✨MAGIC✨ You many have noticed that we keep posting images of c-birth Mamas doing skin-to-skin with their freshies. We don't intend to make anyone feel disappointed or upset that they did not have this option. In non-emergency cesarean deliveries you may not have even known it was something that you could have asked for. It may not have been supported by your care provider or hospital that you birthed in. Many care providers have recently begun hopping on board with skin-to-skin and clear drapes because we as consumers are requesting family centered cesareans. Oh you know, just strutting it on my very own hospital runway yesterday! Of course I had to try on the beautiful hospital gown(s) and make sure my strut was on point before the actual big day! Haha. Thanks for the lovely photos @empoweredbirthproject! It was a false alarm but it taught me so much patience, and how to be nice to myself!
