he had been standing at attention, but it was OBVIOUS that he was not entirely there... throughout the meeting, tender eyes wandered around the room. the briefing for next weeks mission was just lengthy enough for his mind to DETACH-- imagination pushing vivid images to the forefront of his consciousness and for a moment, kinoe did not exist.
the room was almost entirely cleared out and the goodbyes he had received did little to resonate inside of him-- TENZO wasn’t present yet, it didn’t feel like him. not this soon anyways...
