Oh god, a really tough one and an extremely easy one lol so I'll start by 7 because I have sooooo many but
7- Nicky Headcannon
Fuck I thought this would be super easy but I'm actually working on fics rn with my top headcannons so I'll say something else. Which is that Nicky has a long complicated history with exy.
I think he used to play it in school, and it did give him and his dad something to mildly bond over (even if his dad finds the sport girly and was pushing much more for Nicky to play American Football-but honestly he was just very pleased Nicky didnt play 'futbol' as his mother calls soccer. That would have been so embarrassing). But over the years Nicky starts getting bullied for being queer and it gets to the point where the coach 'invites Nicky to exit the team' so that everyone is more comfortable. Maybe theater would be more Nicky's speed! It's one of the most humiliating moments of Nicky's life and it culminate into him being sent to conversion therapy.
When he finds out the twins play it, he feels like he's seeing a ghost. But it's something for them to do and bond over so he keeps it quiet. Maybe even has to ask his parents for his old gear because they're broke and the boys need new-ish materials. This is also one of the most humiliating moments of Nicky's life.
When he gets the scholarship thanks to Andrew, the opportunity is too good to pass up (amongst other reasons) and he just. He tells himself he's reclaiming it. That this is a great way for him to have something to bond with the twins over.
But it just feels like punishment. I don't think nicky will enjoy the sport until something gives and I don't think it has happened in cannon yet. Maybe it will one day but not now. Hes not ready for it.

Woowie! I think I used up all the words I had left on that but uhhh. I gave the first book a 2 star rating on goodreads and absolutely ruined any chance of my friends reading it too??? I'm sorry I just really didn't like the first one. Also I like aus just as much as the next person but I think it would be nearly impossible for Andrew and Neil to get together if it weren't for the exact circumstances of the books so most of the time I try to read one I'm just not convinced at all and it makes me drop fics super fast
