June's prompt day 5 Rescue mission
Betty was dragging Kevin. His feet were almost off the ground.
"You are going to slow, we need to hurry!"
She stops and wipes some sweat off her forehead and huffs, "To save Jughead."
she rolled her eyes, "That is exactly what it is!!!"
"What are we saving him from?"
"Why are we going to pops?"
"He is going to eat himself to death, and Pop's is going to feel sorry for him."
so she stomps her foot, "So, that leaves us Kevin, and we need to save him."
He just smiles at her, "Oh, okay, Betty."

As the enters, she sees him. He's drinking a shake. She counts them. There are 10 she can see on the table.
She gives Pop's a death glare and walks over to him.
"Pop," she says with lit in her voice.
"Yes, Betty," she sees the glint in his eye.
"How many of those has he had?" pointing to said shakes.
"About ten give or take."
she puts her finger up to her mouth, " mmm hmph."
Betty gives him that Alice Cooper glare, "How many did you pay for?"
"All of them," he says it as calm as calm can be.
She looks into his brown eyes, "How many burgers? How many fries?"
Pop's eyes look like a cat ready to strike, "About 20 or so."
Betty squeals, "YOU ARE GOING TO KILL HIM, I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH HE THINKS HE CAN EAT. HE CAN'T EAT HIS FEELINGS."
She realized she was shouting.
she turned to the said boy as Kevin looked at her and whispered, "Rescue recon back on?"
Betty strolled towards Jug. When she approached said boy's table who had fries in his mouth and the deer in the headlights eyes.
Betty said with a no-nonsense attitude, "Since Pop paid this bill, you are coming with me!"
"I am not," he pulled back.
she looked him in the eye, " I got something sweeter a little tart for you to eat."
he put down the burger and followed her out.
Kevin shook his head chuckled looked at Pop, "Men,"
Kevin smiled, "Thanks, Pop, thanks for taking care of him until Betty came to her senses."
Pop smiled "Kevin, always!"
