Although I’ll admit I’m nowhere near as motivated as I initially was (expect this chapter to be mid), hopefully this will be a start for getting myself into writing again. Seeing robins and the word oblivious was enough of a kickstarter to help tbh. Anyways, highly recommended rereading this fic just because of how long it’s been since I last updated, and a few subtle changes to the writing.

Learnt my lesson to not rely on a consistent upload schedule during important school years, but I’ll try keep as motivated as possible from here on out (no promises tho.)

I realised there’s a big plot hole in the “Think knows that Kreek will outright murder him if Kreek’s allowed to become a full Hunt Avatar, so why does he let it happen and not try to stop it” plot thread, and after thinking (haha) about it for a while…I ended up coming up with an entirely new concept,

The concept here is that Think remains Kreek’s Elias-archetype and actually shares a patron with him now!

It starts with a deal the two make, with Kreek filming monsters for him (which takes their power, as people aren’t scared of them if they can watch them over and over again) and he stepping in and killing those monsters. It ends with Think trying to help Kreek through the whole “turning into a Hunt Avatar” business and helping him try to prevent it, to no avail.

His ‘hunt form’ is more feline, but still has some of the dog elements. He can also shapeshift into a cute little domestic housecat, which makes spying and tracking people much easier.
