it's still amusing that the series points out a few times that zero doesn't at all consider the other intoners her sisters, but instead she thinks she should've been regarded as their mother instead. but i think that the " sister " angle does make sense when you consider that zero is their only peer in power and species, and even if they originate from her and took a portion of the black flower's power, they are her, or at least their origins come from her own psyche and experiences, so innately why would they call her " mother " considering that ?
