"You are Love itself!"
Therefore You and me...

(Man I love this song and its animatic)
end of summer 🌤️
(based off this! thank you for letting me draw it)
actually now that oathbound has been out for a bit i will say a plot line i’m really disappointed with is merlin treatment within the order and the morgaines overall. i remember during the wait for bloodmarked i was certain the morgaines were going to be a bigger force, either as villains or allies, and through this there’d be deconstruction about what the oaths actually do to merlins. i was certain the oaths and succumbing were made up and i know i wasn’t the only one.
and then none of that happened. don’t get me wrong i love the exploration of rootcraft! that’s important too! but there’s so much set up for the morgaines in book one that basically goes no where.

i think writing this fic is rly interesting bc of the whole sub-top praise kink nature of orion since niki isn't rly the type to bully around in bed either and he ALSO has a praise kink lmfao, so in my head they switch it around
orion quinn is in vilna city now 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️
Me rewatching all of heated rivalry again to pick up all the instances of Russian culture everyone seems to insist is in there, when the only thing I learnt about Russia from this show are a) what I already knew regarding the legality of homosexuality (was no one else reading the news in Jan-Feb 2014) (which isn’t even culture and is just a facet of authoritarian governments) and b) the place setting for the deceased at a funeral repast/dinner. Because what I saw for 5 episodes was how a person’s family who happen to be Russian—and even then, Ilya probably could’ve been from any Eastern European country for all that anything about him seemed specific to Russia—treated their youngest son/younger brother, and both of those family members are cops. What I didn’t see was anything specific to Russia or any interrogation of Ilya’s whiteness and how that allowed him easier access to the nhl, to citizenship most likely, and how it let him be “the asshole” in the league
