When does showing grace mean the most? When we don't understand, still, why someone made a mistake.

I'm so freaking broken. But I like to cover it up. As if covering it up will make it go away eventually. Like prettying things up equates to making it beautiful. I'm starting to see how I was never meant to pretty things up though. The broken stuff, yeah it's not pretty. But it's beautiful because that's where I find God's grace. There was a moment when Jesus was broken. His cross was not a pretty sight. It was and is absolutely beautiful.
