If you can't run, walk. If you can't walk, crawl.-MLK,JR. #thingsitellmyPrintce MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.'s assassination is ONE example of white American government/supremacists' extreme measures to instill and ingrain oppression/discouragement throughout the American black/poor community. Even if you don't agree with his methods, you can't deny that he motivated and called many to ACTION where most DIED just to establish a foundation of the rights we take for granted and the basis on which capitalists imply WE already have enough, we just need to work harder with less. All I could think about today is how Dr. King's words are just as purposeful & precious today. Alternatively, the immediate consequence of his murder is profound in how myself and many others can barely find the motivation to eat well, let alone risk their livelihood to do or speak on anything for fear of assassination. Figuratively speaking, to the assassination of our character, self preservation, or out right assassination by the officers who's occupation is SUPPOSED to be grounded in protection. We are still being assassinated to this day and we're he only ones afflicted by consequences. I have a dream that I can create a world for us to live in. We will protect our own, nurture our own, employ our own, and love our own without needing the approval of unworthy outsiders out of fear of rejection. #theykilledmartinandmalcolm #neverforget #theykilledkings
