Not gonna lie. I’ve had two kind of tough years, full of all kinds of adulting. But if they taught me one thing it’s that I’m so blessed to have the people in my life that I do, that will do anything in their means to help me when I need it. That being said I learned a few things this year some big, and some small (refer to #2 and #14 😂) I’m truly excited for 2019 and all it has to bring and I’m confident it is going to be a great year!

1. One of my favorite things to do is travel, and I’ve never regretting taking a trip somewhere. Trip memories last forever. This year I traveled to: Orlando, ATL, Valdosta, Columbia SC, Pigeon Forge, and Asheville!

2. Every word to every song in The Greatest Showman. :) 

3. Nothing will compare to the Halloween version of Space Mountain, Deep Space.

4. Sometimes you win concert tickets 🎫 that you were not expecting to win; go anyway, it’s worth it.

5. + sometimes you go to concerts two weekends in a row because you had already bought tickets to a concert the next weekend.

6. That even the best Sundays can be ruined by realizing Chick-fil-a is not open. 😜

7. I’m super thankful for sunshine.

8. Sometimes you get in your first car accident and your car ends up totaled. (shoutout to the guy that pulled out in front of me 😡)

9. What you get out of any certain situation depends solely on how much effort you put into it.

10. My love for movies is BIG, and going to the theatre is one of my favorite things to do. (I mean I’ve always known this, but thanks to MoviePass I saw more movies this year than ever!)

11. More about insurance than I ever wanted to know.

12. Change is hard but necessary for growth.

13. My heart belongs in the mountains (TN), life seems more simple there and the people are some of the kindest you’ll meet.

14. Screaming at Alexa when she doesn’t hear you the first time doesn’t help. Haha!

Learn from the situation you're in

Sometimes you just have to buckle down and do things

If you work smarter and harder you'll be twice as far ahead

Value relationships and take care of them to the best of your ability

The value of community and citizenship and how it can be a ripple effect

My path isn't the same as other people's

Doing something and caring enough to do it right

Work is work and there's only so many things under your control

Ignorance might be bliss but it also makes things meaningless

Personal growth shouldn't be hindered by the fear of hypocracy

Basic understanding of statistics is helpful
