Things Celtic began importing products from Ireland in 1997. Â In 1999 we opened our first store front location in Austin. In 2018 it was time to slow down and move to a small town, we chose the delightful community of Dublin, Texas. Â There are about 300 items on the website and over 3,000 in the store!
We work with three large tartan manufacturers in Scotland and also with the Welsh Tartan Centre. Â We have the fabric sample books with over 500 tartan choices. Â If you'd like to order a custom made kilt, we want to make sure you've had a chance to see the actual fabric swatches, not just a scanned image on internet. Ordering a kilt can be confusing, if you're going to spend hundreds of dollars on a traditional kilt it is best to be measured in person.
