Thimble Kickstarter Launch Party
We want to announce a super awesome Kickstarter that just launched yesterday in Buffalo. Yesterday we went to the Thimble Kickstarter Launch Party held at D!G / Innovation Center.
Thimble.io creates and delivers a kit that will help you understand the fundamentals of electronics every month. Subscribers can learn to code, build, and hack with their monthly DIY electronics kit that are delivered to their doors.
David and Oscar from Thimble. io have been working hard to launch their first kit, a Wi-Fi Robot Kit. From a makerspace point of view, we were super excited that there would be a subscription service readily available for anyone interested to get involved.
We were first introduced to David and Oscar’s idea when we hosted a roundtable discussion at the Foundry with Megan Smith, CTO of the USA in May of this year. It was a surreal experience to have people from different groups in one place to push forward STEM Education.
We’re super excited to see Thimble’s idea come to life. Please show support and check out their Kickstarter campaign: kck.st/1NafutD Every bit helps and please share with your friends!
Good luck Oscar & David!
