❤️ this! Afternoon 🍎 Today’s #AndySays - Fan Special🎈#TheySaidAboutAndy “To Shanna, Boom from the Apocalypse! Andrew Lincoln/Rick Grimes!” I’m not able to stand long so I was in the area behind Andy’s autograph table with others who had disablilites. After the 3:00pm table signing Andy came to sign for us and he took his time with each person even though the owner said no personalization because of time. When he came to me I said “Hi.” Before he could ask my name he saw it on the postit and addressed me, saying my name corretly. As he was writing my autograph I told him that our photo op turned out great and he looked up at me saying “Do you like it?” I said “I love it!” He asked if me and my Mom were going to watch the new episode that night and I responded “Yes, definitely will.” I was able to show him the photo op we had taken earlier in my binder after he finished signing and he remembered me right away and said “That’s so awesome.” I told him “Thank you so much,” we smiled at each other and I left. Andrew Lincoln is probably the nicest person I have ever met. Without saying anything, we have this way of reeling ourselves into the moment of what we need to be in, but we have that also with some of our crew. 🌹 With another #WSCAtlanta in the books I wanted to also send a shoutout to Andy for his abundant generosity and amazing spirit. No matter what funny, sincere, outrageous, (sometimes inappropriate 😑) moment fans request he always approaches the engagement with sincerity and enthusiasm to ensure that each fans experience is memorable and above expectation. It was wonderful to hear fans share their stories this weekend and my own experience is never lacking fun, love, and huge, heartfelt thanks! It continues to be an honor to acknowledge his leadership and commitment to others by running the #TeamAndyLincoln initiatives and observing everyone’s generosity this past weekend in giving to Barnardo’s reinforces the idea that each of us paying forward one act of kindness goes a long way in making a positive impact on everyone.
